Biographical note

Graduate from The University of Physical Education in Warsaw, specialist in physical rehabilitation. Completed postgraduate studies at the faculty of Management in Public Administration of Leon Koźminski Academy.

Between 1995 and 1999 he was the Director of the Department of Health and Social Policy in the Office of Warsaw-Rembertów Municipality.

In years 1999-2006 he was Vice-Director of Social Assistance Centre of the Office of Warsaw-Wawer Quarter. Since 2006 he is the Mayor of Praga-Południe District in Warsaw.

Councillor of Mazowieckie Voivodeship in III, IV and V Tenures.

He is committed to the community, cofounder and former President of Association of Children’s Friends in Rembertów. 

He is a fan of sports, he used to be professional sportsman.

He is Member of The Civic Platform.
