Chopin send his last letter before emigration from Płock.
During his last trip through Poland, Chopin traditionally visited the city of Płock, which enchanted him with its charm. He especially loved to watch Vistula river from Tumskie hill. Letter sent from Płock was probably his last letter before emigration, but torn off corner of the letter, on which last digit of the date was written, makes it impossible to confirm. This is still a matter of a research of Frederic Chopin’s life and composition’s hotheads. Nevertheless it is beyond doubt that the letter was sent from the oldest post office in Płock on the Kościuszko-street 13 (formerly Warszawska-street 274).
