Since 2004 the Mazovia Voivodeship is represented in the Committee of the Regions by the Marshal of Mazovia Voivodeship, Mr. Adam Struzik (an observer since year 2002, appointed as a full member after the accession of Poland to the European Union). On the 10th of February 2010 he was appointed to the Bureau of the Committee of the Regions. He participates in the works of the COTER (Commission for Territorial Cohesion Policy and Budget of the EU) and ENVE (Commission on Environment, Climate Change and Energy).
